Traditional beneficiation methods include roasting magnetic separation, flotation and strong magnetic separation, but the indicators of a single process are relatively poor. At present, a centralized method and a combined process are mostly used. According to the characteristics of the hematite beneficiation process, it can be divided into a roasting magnetic separation process, a flotation process, a weak magnetic-strong magnetic process, a strong magnetic flotation process, and a combined heavy-magnetic-floatation process.
